title: Introduction
description: Learn to prepare, rehearse, present, and share an interactive talk with Inalia.
---

Inalia adds participation to your talks: ask your audience questions, collect their questions, receive live reactions, and gather feedback.

## Using Inalia

Start here whether or not you use Slidev:

1. [Run your first interactive talk](/docs/getting-started/first-talk): create a poll, receive an answer, collect feedback, and finish.
2. [Share your talk](/docs/presenting/sharing): choose audience links and keep presenter links private.
3. [Choose your interactions](/docs/getting-started/interactions): understand polls, audience Q&A, reactions, and feedback.
4. [Rehearse safely](/docs/presenting/rehearsal): choose a practice method and follow the pre-flight checklist.

The first tutorial needs only a speaker account and a phone or private browser window. Audience members do not need to register.

## Using Inalia with Slidev

Connect the same example talk to a slide deck:

1. [Your first Slidev integration](/docs/slidev/getting-started): install, configure, and receive an answer in your slides.
2. [Slidev reference](/docs/slidev/reference): look up connection settings, common components, layouts, and customization.
3. [Publish slides with saved results](/docs/slidev/publishing): replace live questions with snapshots and remove credentials before sharing.

**Present privately, publish without tokens.** The current add-on uses a browser-side API token. Read the [security warning](/docs/slidev/getting-started#before-you-start) before configuring a live deck.

## Need help?
