Interactions
Live reactions
Enable Live Reactions on the talk details page to let attendees react with emojis during the presentation. Choose Customize to configure the reactions for your talk.
Before presenting, check the interaction from an audience device and the screen where you expect reactions to appear. Both devices need connectivity for a live experience. Live reactions are momentary broadcasts, not a saved feedback report.
For a connected Slidev deck, the add-on displays the reaction overlay automatically. To hide it on a particular slide, see Customization.
Audience questions
Enable Audience Questions to let attendees submit questions without interrupting the presentation. This feature and Live Reactions require Premium.
To run a Q&A:
- Choose Run and share the audience overview link.
- Ask an attendee to submit a question. Other attendees can vote on it.
- Open Dashboard in your talk's Status card. It orders questions by votes, then newest first for ties.
- Select a question to broadcast a highlight to a connected presentation, such as your Slidev deck.
- Choose Remove Highlight when you are done addressing it.
The dashboard is a presenter tool, not your slide deck. Highlighting needs a connected presentation that consumes the event. “Previously highlighted” is history, not confirmation that the question is currently displayed. Voting and highlighting are unavailable in demo mode.
Tell attendees when you plan to answer their questions, such as at the end of a section or during a closing Q&A. Keep the dashboard URL private; it is not an audience submission link.
Interactive questions
Interactive questions are prompts you create for the audience to answer. They are distinct from audience-submitted questions.
Inalia supports text, single-select, and multiple-select questions. Configure the prompt and, for choice questions, the available answers in your talk's question workspace.
When embedding a question in Slidev, use the output generated for that question rather than guessing its identifier. See Slidev integration.
Feedback
Enable Feedback to collect responses about your presentation. Keep the talk running while attendees use Inalia's built-in feedback form, then choose Finish after collection is complete. Enabling Feedback does not start a talk, and the built-in form is unavailable once the talk is finished. Review saved feedback in your talk workspace.
If you already collect feedback elsewhere, choose Use External URL in the Feedback card. When a URL is already configured, the control is labeled Change Feedback URL.
Use a public, audience-accessible form URL and test it before sharing it. Unlike the built-in form, the short feedback link can redirect to an external form while the talk is running or finished.
Feature availability
Some controls depend on your account permissions or plan. If an interaction cannot be enabled, check access before troubleshooting your browser or network.
For missing or delayed interactions, see Troubleshooting.
