Sharing your talk
Use the audience link
Share the talk's audience link, not your private workspace or management URL. Attendees use the audience-facing page to access the interactions enabled for that talk.
A useful pre-presentation check is to open the audience link on a separate phone or in a private browser window. This helps you verify the experience without relying on your presenter session.
Display a QR code
If you display a QR code for the audience link, make it large enough to scan from the back of the room. Keep a readable link alongside it for people who cannot scan the code.
Verify that the code opens the correct talk before projecting it. A QR code for a different session will not follow changes you make to the current talk.
Check the talk status
In the talk's Status card, choose Run before testing live interactions. For a running talk, Overview opens the audience-facing overview and Dashboard opens the presenter dashboard.
Keep private presenter links out of your public slides and messages.
Share your slides
Add your presentation URL to the talk's Deck URL field. Use a URL that your audience can actually access; a private editor link may require permissions attendees do not have.
Before the audience joins
- Confirm the talk title and session are correct.
- Start the talk and enable the interactions you plan to use.
- Test the audience link on another device.
- Check the venue's internet connection.
- Keep the audience link visible long enough for attendees to join.
